December 27, Good Morning GBO
« on: December 27, 2008, 01:36:49 AM »
Well, now that the Christmas rush is over I am sure hoping your wives are not dragging you out to some sale getting a jump on next years Christmas shopping already.... yep the stores have found a way to get the masses moving again.

Well, we have a nice little layer of fresh snow with temps running around +22* at my front door.  For those around Browning it looks like severe driving conditions, stay home with some hot coffee.

MMMM that sounds good, I'm gonna take my own advice and go get me some hot coffee.  You all have a wonderful day.

Good mornin Jon, Good morning every one.  It's 27 degrees and windy, very windy this morning.  The wind started up early last night and has been howling all night.  Big drift at the back door this morning. Dogs and I had to fight to get out this morning.

I don't realy think we got any new snow, its just what we had, was drifting.  The walks are pretty much blown clear.  Wind like this ususal mean warmer weather.  I will have to check to make sure there are no drifts up against the house.

I saw 32 on a bank today, but it didn't melt enought to keep the snow from blowing.  It was pretty strong wind last night, eased up some, maybe only 20-25mph and then tonight it got heavier again.  Had to go spend my gift cards today, 3# powder at one store and a new ruger 22 pistol at Shiptons. ;D  Momma and the kids know how to treat the old man right. ;)  We have more snow on the ground now than I have seen for several years, usually melts off before getting more.  More snow pack in the mountains is a very good thing.  DP
