Just to put the blackpowder subs in context with other forms of ammo.......

Would you buy .30-06 cartridges that go off 95% of the time and only work in 2 or 3 brands of rifles?  Also there's no way of knowing if they'll work in your rifle without buying a box, and they cost twice as much?????On top of this, some are only good for a year or two and then they are no good.

I agree and I am learning about the problem's with keeping sub's for the next year.. I bought fresh this year but How long will it keep? I keep it in an old army can with what I think is a good seal. But until this year I never knew this stuff had a shelf life. Also I hear the samt thing about $15.00 a box deer slug's. But I also have read that the new Blackhorn209 has a better shelf life? I just thank people here who help keep us informed
