Sending links
« on: December 02, 2008, 06:08:36 PM »
Used to be when I copied and pasted a http address from my browser window to an email on hotmail, it would become a link (turned blue and is underlined, and takes you there when you click it). Why is that not happening now? I have to copy and paste it to my browser instead of just clicking on it. I tried to find any settings on hotmail, but could not.

Help! :)

Evening.  Did you recently switch to AOL service? This is a known issue with AOL

Are you using Windows Live in Hotmail?
Are you typing email in TEXT mode or HTML mode?
Deceased due to a 3rd stroke on Dec. 12, 2011.

RIP John.

Thanks, sorry for not getting back. I am not using AOL, and I am in hotmail live. I seems to be a firefox thing, because when i use I-explorer the problem goes away. I do not see how to switch my typing from text to html, but that may be the problem.
