Vanguard 270 Short mag
« on: January 05, 2009, 04:51:26 PM »
Hi all,
I am a new member here and this is my 1st post.

Can't believe all the forums here.  I won a Weatherby Vanguard in 270 short mag in a raffle and I have never shot a round through it yet.
I was wondering if these are accurate guns in this caliber.  I am probably going to need to do a bed and trigger job but I was just curious
if these were accurate guns.

Thanks for the information,
hunter966

Ironicly my vanguard 270wsm was won in a raffle as well, mine is very accurate especially with the 110 grain v-max and 58 grains h4350.

I have the synthetic blue Vanguard in 270 WSM, only shot one box of 130 grain Federal Power Shok in it so far.  It did well, shot every thing within one and a quarter inch.  Don't think it will have any problems.
