thanks bart74. i went and sighted the rifle in today. it was hitting about 3' low. i don't have a bore sighter. after 10 rounds i had it hitting the bullseye. no miss fires. the only complaint i have is the hammer. it doesnot feel like it wanted to lockback in the fire position. i really have to pull it back. one thing i did learn was donot hold this rifle lose like i do with my other rifles. first shot i had a little case of scope eye ;D

I use a Nikon Omega with 5" of eye relief on mine.I'm shooting 300 gr. bullets at 2363 fps.in mine and it's not hard on the shoulder, and very little muzzle lift off the bench.Mine has the compact stock and the hot loads feel about like a Handi rifle with the factory Win. 300 gr. load. Mine gets alot of use for hogs, and deer.   Digger
