Any reason I shouldn't use my 50 cal ML on coyotes>
I use 295 grain bullet with 2 triple seven pellets for deer but would use 245 or 270 grain bullet out to 150 yards

Have killed a lot of coyotes with a .50 muzzleloader. Most of them were killed with the 240 grain .430 XTP bullet. Then i started using the 200 grain Shockwave and 120 grains of Pyrodex RS-works great.

I shot one this year while deer hunting. Used a 50 cal. with conical. I shot her in front shoulder, exited opposite rear. I walked up with my skinning knife, took a look and realized all I had was a head and ears.
