Want a holster or rig to comfortably carry one in. Any help would be appreciated.

I think there is a Grizzly holster made by some guys in Alaska.  I inherited a model 10 Smith & Wesson and wanted a chest carry. I couldn't find one so went down to Tandy Leather and talked for awhile.  Wound up leaving with a 1 1/2" belt blank, a buckle, a hole punch a little latigo strapping and some dye.  After looking at an old picture of an uncle climbing into a p-51 fighter it took me less than two days to recreate his chest holster.  Third coat of paste shoe polish is drying now.  Two really good things about this First it is unique and it fits me the way I want, second I used an old Bianchi cross draw and all items including the used holster were under $40.

I think Bianchi might still make a chest holster, and possibly Uncle Mike's of Oregon may produce one in ballistic nylon.  And as well, one of our Graybeard members is into the holster making business.  You can probably find the post and a link to his website by cruising the first couple of forums on this site.  HTH.

I get all my holsters custom made by Danny Reed. The are great rigs and well made. http://www.reedgunleather.com/

www.pistolpackaging.com comes to mind as does Sportsmans Guide. Bandoleers are a joy for those w/o hips to hold up the bigger hunting revolvers.

I buy all my holsters for large framed, long barreled and/or scoped guns from Mernickle Holsters.

They make great rigs for the right price and have excellant delivery.

There web site is http://www.mernickleholsters.com/

My favorite model is the SH7B. You can send him a picture of your gun with the scope, etc. mounted and some dimensions and he will build a custom rig just for your setup.

Good Luck,

I also have a Mernicle chest rig for my Bisley, and it works great.
