CW,
There is enough dissension between the pro-gunners and the anti-gunners. There is no need to bring it among ourselves. Let's just get over it and move on. There is too much valuable information exchanged here to mutter up things like this. Let's just both shake hands (cyber shake), say sorry, move on and walk away as men. I'm tired of it as I'm sure you are...as I'm sure everyone else is.
"sorry!" ...and sorry to all!
Blackhawker
This is a hit in the 10 ring Blackhawker!
And from my perspective, there's no apology necessary. To me, this whole thread has been one that, even though it may have seemed a bit tense for a while, only strengthened the respect and connection among the folks who participated. It certainly made
me feel more connection with y'all.
My experience is that it is easy to get along with folks who agree with me, more difficult when my opinion/beliefs are challenged... however, I have learned just as much (maybe more) from the tense times as from the easy times. (Having been a pilot most of my life, I will openly say that I learned much from crappy weather flying, equipment malfunctions, and going into unknown territory. Wasn't necessarily as much fun as I might have liked, but they certainly presented opportunities for learning!)
So to CW, Blackhawker, Tim, Graybeard, and everybody else who participated; I say thanks. As far as I am concerned, it has just strengthened the respect and appreciation I have for the folks on GBO. That is the main results of this thread for me.
Cheers
Kerry
