Speaking of aluma hyde...I actually bought a can in semi gloss and used it to refinish my CZ82. I totally stripped down the CZ82 and coated all the exterior parts and allowed them to cure for a week, put it back together then gave the whole thing a light coat and allowed it to cure again. Personally I think it's just too much like spray paint. It looks good and will work for now but I'm a perfectionist and can see myself stripping it back down, buying a can of gun kote and a toaster oven and doing it "right" the 2nd time. For those that don't have access to an oven to cure in the aluma hyde works nicely and is relatively easy to apply.
