Brazilian rosewood problem with Canada border crossing?

This is a topic of discussion on a guitar forum. The issue is whether CITES is invoked as justification for confiscating guitars made with Brazilian rosewood. Since rosewood is a common ornamentation on rifle stocks I wonder whether this is a known problem for hunters entering Canada.
I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but this really got my interest when I saw it and am trying to learn more. The attached thread summarizes the issue, with which there is the potential you may have your guitar (rifle?) confiscated unless you can prove that the rosewood on it is not Brazilian.

Every time I go through Illinios, I make sure I fill before I get there and don't take toll roads. I will not give them any money.
