I am sick and tired. I can not watch TV anymore without a TV add about erectile disfunction. It seems I see a dozen a day about men that can't get it up. I have a 12 year old daughter that watches the same TV. I am sure at her age she knows whats up( OR NOT ) but why do they have to put it out there like that. Although my favorite TV add is some guy in his 50's that said I just took Viraga and I will be ready when the time comes. The thing is he is with a smoking hot 25 year old. I think to myself who needs the Viraga for her. If you do you must be dead. So I would just like to see these TV adds moved to after midnight when my daughter is sleeping. Dale

It would be nice if they just banned lawyers and drug companies from advertising. I could put up with Billy Mays trying to sell me something while being screamed at over his stupid products other than drugs being stuffed down my throat I will never need in the first place.

Well Dale if your sick and tired I'm sure there is a pill advertised on TV to make you feel better. Now if they could make a pill that make the wife look like a super model there would be no need for the ED pills. ;)

The point is I don't want my daughter watching an add for a guy that can't get it up. She is to young to be exopsed to this. I am sure she still knows what it means but I just think it is wrong. Dale

I know how you feel Dale.  I have a nine year old daughter and I cringe every time one of those ad's come on during prime time.  She hasn't yet but I know that sooner or later she is going to ask the question "What is ED Daddy?".     :o :-[

Also the adds are always louder than the show your watching,they say they
are not but bull.

I know for a fact when an add comes on I have to turn the TV down 2 or 4 notches. The adds are a lot louder than the program I am watching. Dale

I am diabetic and have ED.  It is not funny.  I have to have something.  It doesn't matter if your wife is a supermodel, with ED you still have to have some help.  I don't agree with their stupid advertising, but it is a fact with men over 50, especially if they are on high blood pressure medicine or are diabetic.

If they weren't selling the dickens out of it they'd not be paying the high price of prime time TV advertising for it. The stuff must be selling so need it or not someone's buying it.

Oh yeah if those nine and twelve year olds haven't already asked at home the reason is most likely they already found out elsewhere. These days you can either teach them at home or let someone else do it for you. The choice is yours.

I have grandkids selling magazine subscriptions so am now taking F&S and Outdoor Life again. No more guns and bullets or fish bait ads there anymore, nothing but get it up pills. And we used to poke fun at the Orientals for their need for elk horn and bear gall bladders.

It all started for me when TV started advertising "sanitary" products for women years ago and it has just continued to get worse and worse. Every time I see a "Similin' Bob" ad I think about just shooting the TV.

I doubt that there is any kid around the age of ten that needs any explanation about any of this. Overhearing my grandkids when they were that age and they thought no adults were around taught me a lot about what kids know. They certainly knew more cuss words than I did.

Good stuff.  The KY adds are the worst.  With two young kids I really have to watch whats going on on the televison.
