Not sure exactly what I have

I just purchased a Dan Wesson .44 mag, made in Palmer, Mass.  It is Stainless steel, 6" barrel and has 44S followed by the serial number 003XXX. 
Is this a fixed barrel?
I can see no slots at the end of the barrel.
Any idea of the year.

If it is a fixed barrel gun it was made in 1994 that was the only year they were manufactured.

These are the years that Dan Wesson was at each location.

1971 - 1992 Monson, MA
1992 - 1995 Palmer, MA
1997 - Present Norwich, NY
