What is it worth?
« on: February 04, 2009, 05:31:46 AM »
I am looking to by a Ruger 50th Anniversary Flat top Blackhawk in .357. A friend of mine bought it new, and is looking to get rid of it to pick up a 1911. It is blued, in about 95%, has the 4 5/8" barrel, and has only had about 300 factory rounds through it, nothing hot. What should I offer him for it? I was thinking in the ballpark of $350. Is it worth that or should I offer him more than that. Thanks in advance.

I think that you're in the ballpark.  Of course, if he's a really good friend you'd offer $400 and he'd insist on only $300! ;)
