Nope. We have been applying for many years and no one in our family has been picked. My father, mother, fiance and myself all apply in the hopes of attaining a permit.
I will be honest, I have been very lucky in that in 2003 I got a NH permit and shot a nice bull with my TC Contender handgun. The next year my mother obtained a NH permit and I shot a small button bull with my TC Contender handgun. That was a tough hunt in that my mother is in rough medical shape and we were very limited as to mobility. It was also the week of the flooding rains in NH. A miserable hunt but we did get one small moose.
