sb1 question

I just bought a used .20 gauge pardner model. (Serial No. says it's a 2000) I was wondering if I could have a .44 or .357 barrel fitted to it to be used as a deer rifle for my 11 year old daughter.  Also if it can be maybe I could get an opinion or too as to which caliber would be the better choice.  I realize the .44 will have more recoil but I figured she could use .44 specials if need be.

Nope, they won't touch it with a centerfire rifle barrel, the SB1 357 and 44 mag frames aren't standard SB1 frames, they have smaller rifle firing pins, and more importantly, a smaller hole in the standing breech.

the firing pin hole in this frame is smaller than the one in my 12 gauge frame which is six years older.

Matters not, they won't fit rifle barrels to a customer's SB1 frame.

That stinks.  I guess I could get a slug barrel though.  She will have to use my .223 or .243 I guess.  Thanks for your help I appreciate it.
