2009 not starting out so good

Mom and Law went to the hospital Jan 1 with double pneumonia. She is in ICU on a breathing machine. My sisters Dad in Law is in a different hospital, not doing well.  My Daughter has been complaining of unberable headaches for the last couple of days. I just recieved a phone call telling me she has been admitted with viral spinal meningitis. Not a good start to a new year.

I try not to air my worries much, but I do appreciate the shoulder.

When my son was born he was 7 weeks early. He spent weeks in NICU, my stepson at the same time was suffering from a respiratory viral infection at a different hospital. I stayed for three weeks at the local "Ronald McDonald House" in order to keep up with everything. Great people there! It will get better, God's always looking out......

Just talked to my Mom. My sisters Dad in Law passed. I did not know him well, but he was always healthful and happy.

 Greg, sorry to hear the news, my condolences. Prayer sent for you and yours. Be strong my friend. Seasons pass. If you need to talk PM me. No shame in airing worries. All of us go through tough times now and again. We all need support to get through them. I leave you with a few scriptures to remind you to have God handle your worries. Even though it may seem overwhelming God will only place upon you what you can bear.

I'm very sorry to hear that your new year isn't going well,

Just know that God is w/ you in these trying times as he was there for me when I went through an extremely tough time last year.  Just when you think that the good lord isn't listening, you'll find out that indeed he has heard, and is giving you people you can lean on, and people to prop you up when you can't hold yourself up any longer.  My family's prayers are with you and yours friend.

Mom and law is out of ICU. Looks like she has brain damage, we can only hope it may get better.

My daughter will probably spend another 3 to 5 days in the hospital. She has spinal fluid leaking from the puncture they made. Looks like it will be a easy fix. They are expecting no complications.

Going to ILL tomorrow. Found out a few days ago my mom has cancer and is in stage 4. In just 5 weeks shes gone from a very active 83 year old lady who tended her own garden to a woman who can barely walk and making the bed wears her out. She's getting 6 hours of chemo tomorrow. Prayers appreciated. POWDERMAN.  :( :( :( :( :( :(

My wife called home to check on her mother. When she started crying I expected the worst. Surprise!! She got to talk with her mom. She was aware and sounded great! They did remove her from 2 of her medications. It appears she may have been having a reaction to them.
