Update on my 608
« on: February 20, 2009, 06:46:57 PM »
Well, here I go. My 608 was sent back a few weeks ago and taurus said it would be at least march to get it back. To my surprise, my gunsmith called me yesterday and said it was back. Man what service. I went to the shop and opened the box and behold, my 608 was just as broke now as it was when I sent it in. Same problem, just covered with gobs of gun oil now. I was %$#@# off. I called the Miami cust service number from the shop and they answered after 14 minute hold. I stated the problem and he said I was mistaken, my gun was repaired. He said they adjusted the yoke/adjust the paw and it works just fine. Only problem is, the cylinder spins still freely and does not lock into battery/same as before. My gunsmith talked to him and asked for his supervisor and he stated he was not there today. Customer service agreed to take it back and look at it(again). They picked it up today and now I guess the saga begins.
