I bought a clearance 36x fixed power TruGlo from Natchez for something like 60 bucks last summer and put it on a 6mmBR groundhog gun just for the heck of it.

So far that scope is holding zero, as recoil is nonexistant on the 6BR, but there is no way on God's green earth that it has the optical quality a 36x fixed-power scope should have.  It is like looking out of a very low-end Bushnell or BSA at about 12 or 14 power.

For 60 bucks I wasn't expecting a Schmidt and Bender, but mine just screams "cheap toy".   My experience with them is extremely limited but based on that 36x, I wouldn't pay big bucks for one.  YMMV.
