Skinner reciever peep?
« on: January 08, 2009, 08:13:18 AM »
Has anyone any experience with the skinner peep that screws in the top of the reciever with no base.  Seems like at less than 40 buckes it would be the way to go as it could be moved from gun to gun regaurdless  of holes spacing.  The data page says windage adjusts via drifting front sight.  Would this work well for a hog hunting sight for quicker sight pictures on a 336 in 35 remington.   Thanks   SN

Go to MarlinOwners.com, snoop around to find the Industry Partners forum, the 336 Forum and the 1894 forum.  Lots of positive reports about the Skinner sights.  Tim Skinner is great about answering his e-mail, too.
