I picked up my new unfired M77 MII in 280 on Friday finally and was blown away by the polish, fit and quality. It is the Rocky Mountain Elk edition sitting in a Hogue overmolded full length aluminum bedded stock.
I didn't know that Ruger's had such a high polish. The trigger was good as well...good enough to live with at least. I could not have been more pleased. I am going to be on the range tomorrow to see if it shoots as good as it looks!
