Dear Guys,
If you go on the website for Ram-Line stocks, and look under their stock references for Winchester Model 70 rifles, their website states: "Winchester Model 70 pre-64 were all long action."
Is this true? Even for the .308 and .243 featherweight pre-64s? (If so, did Winchester use a standard long action, and just put a spacer in the mag box to shorten it up for the .308 and .243 rounds.?)
