REM. 11-87 Premier 20ga
« on: January 10, 2009, 04:33:18 PM »
Can anyone Tell me what a Remington 11-87 Premier 20GA with a 26" Ventrib would be worth?  It Is New Never shot still in The Box. It has the Fancy Engraving on both sides of the receiver.I would say it has a 1st Grade  Fancy walnut stock.  Any Help you Can give me would be Great. I really want to Buy this shotgun But Unsure if he is asking to Much. Thank you.

I seem to recall I gave about $600 for mine in full camo which normally costs a bit more than the blued ones with walnut. Look on the Remington site at MSRP and figure about 80% to 85% of that depending on what kinda profit margin your FFL guy likes to make.

Bill,
From what I've been told the 20GA premier Blued, Engraved with walnut high gloss are not made anymore. They were replaced by the 1100 G3. Is this correct? I can't Find them in Rems new catalog or on their sight. Thanks

Honestly dunno. I think that when I bought my G3 they were 12ga only but it's been awhile and I really wasn't looking for a 20 so am not sure. I just looked and they do now make the G3 in 20 so it might have replaced the Premier 11-87 20.

What are they asking for it? I picked up one of them in 12 gauge either in 2007 or very early 2008 most likely 2007. Really nice wood. I can't recall just now what I gave for it tho but I seem to recall in the neighborhood of $400 used but in as new condition.

He's asking $650.00 It's an individual. I know that it is new in box .  I've found a couple  sales by doing a Google search. The Highest was $750 Lowest was $625. So he is in the ballpark, I feel. But I could be wrong..  ???

That's not enough out of line to hurt if it's what you want. I've paid more than guns were worth before cuz I really wanted it and didn't want to walk away from it.
