336 SDT Available
« on: January 07, 2009, 02:10:09 AM »
I just noticed that Davidson's is now listing the 336 SDT as in stock for anyone interested. I just bought the 1895 SDT a week ago so unfortunately money is too tight to allow me to get one of these. I would liked to have both, but that's life. http://www.galleryofguns.com/Genie/default.aspx?item=336SDT

I just picked mine up yesterday.  I had planned on replacing the rear sight with a peep/ghost ring, but, after shouldering the rifle a few times, I am keeping the stock sights on it until I see how it does at the range.

I'll probably still have my .270 in my hands when I'm sitting in a stand, but I figure it will be about the perfect walk-around rifle for deer season in Northern Minnesota, and I walk around in the woods a lot during deer season.

more then id probably spend on a 3030 but if they chambered it in 4570 or 444 or even the new 338 they might get me to bite.

They have a rifle made to the same specs in 45-70.

Just thought you should know....
