Front sight pins

Where can I buy some of the very small split pins that are used to anchor the front sight blades on Ruger revolvers?

I think I got mine from Brownell's.  Or maybe it was Midway.  Either, I guess.  Might as well get some front sight blades while you are at it, huh?

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!

Thanks, I'll talk to Brownell's. I figured to make the blades. I like patridge front sights. I have an Alan Harton sight on a Bisley and it is really nice.

I'd like to see a picture of the Harton sight if it's not too much trouble.   I think the front sight blades were cheap.  I took one and milled a slot in the top and inserted a piece of ivory.  I'm using it and I like it but the second one should turn out better.  I made one out of brass for a Mk 1 .22 & it looked nice & worked well.

I have made many over the years from steel and brass - mostly steel as I like black sights. I will try to post the Harton sight.

After cylinder ream, trigger job and new sight, it is a real shooter.

You can also get the roll pins on the internet thru places like Harbor Freight tools, Tacoma screw, etc.  That sight really looks nice.  Most of my Rugers that have the screw on front sight have the Mark II Patridge style sight put on.  Shoot a lot better in bright light.
