What works best oxpho-blue paste or liquid. I am going to try to do a whole 22.       Thanks  Clem

follow the directions well
I don't think that all alloys react the same way to the selenium, though.  The finish is slightly different on the magazine versus the bolt body, for example. 

I am very happy with it for touchup.  Just take your time and do a lot of rubbing.

I prefer the liquid as I feel it gives a more even color and seems to work well using a cheap forcepts and a makeup applicator pad. Don't contaminate the bottle remove a bit to a jar lid or use a suirt bottle and apply to pad then rub gun. Heat metal first (just before the liquid sizzles) and rub the surface being blued after it is dry, with steel wool.
