…so I drive 1200 miles through more Soy beans than God knew existed to make a date that RdFx set up and the bogger stands me up!  What kind of way is that to treat a fellow?  Anyhow!   :x

I even went to huntin for him…checked in with Boggy 2 or 27 times…no RdFx.  I says to Boggy (who by the way is a long haired cast back from the 70’s for you guys who hain’t had the pleasure  ) so what does RdFx look like when he’s fixed up to be in public?  Now I’m gonna quote ole Boggy boy here, “he’s the ugliest guy here”.  That was a bunch of help, like pickin out the prettiest Playboy Bunny, it was.  “The ugliest” at a national gathering of trappers, DANG!  And most of them are bigger than the average fellow and look like they’d take the skin right off your back!  Well needless to say I didn’t enlist any help in pickin ugly.

Chet and I hung out at the Tapperman corner watchin for ole Rdfx…never saw him…and if we did we didn’t recognize him as being any uglier than the rest.  While we were there we ate a plate of roast pig and deep fried gator that the Tapperman crew was cookin.  Word is that the moderators of that forum donated all the fixinis for the members…hint hint hint.

Now, guess who else wasn’t there…yep Asa.  Came all that way to save freight on lure and no Asa.  Had to buy it from Boggy rusty caps and all. hehehe.

That’s another thing when you fellows notice that Boggy’s got wet feet, BEAT a path out of there he’s plain contrary!  Man I pity them poor beaver.  He caught me and Chet between a tarp and three tables and made us wash off all of his wares…every last stinkin 1 once bottle of Asa’s lure, 4302 conibear triggers, 27 yoho trowels, 47 pairs of long rubber gloves…kind you use to pregnancy test cows and 211 packages of various swivels and such.  Next day he was a smiling and a grinning ear too ear turns out the cleanin we gave em made sales pick up but good.

Well anyhow I’m back safe and sound in NM.  Got my two bottles of Asa’s super catch every cat that walks within a 1/4 mile of the trap, lure and won’t have to pay the US Post Office a cent…fooled them!  :-D

Forgot one thing, I heard from what I figure are pretty reliable sources that there may be a shortage of urine this year (Coyote) and there is apparently little if any quality cat urine.  Just passing one what I heard.

Sure was hot on the concrete but did wander in the aircondition booth area where  i checked out  John Grahams wife oops i mean  upcoming new dogless trap.  A fella next to me said how in the H-ll could and ugly trapper like John end up with a long legged beauty  like that LOL....... By the way Wacky seen two dead yotes  on the way  down to Bloomington.  On way back home didnt see any road kills till got back into WI.  possums, skunks, coon, bvr.  Say you didnt bring any peyote buttons for Bog to use in his bvr lure did ya.  Man i never seen him smile so much    :) .  OF course he was a little ornery in the morning as he couldnt find coffee at 4 am in morning .  Oh well   will rest up and in two weeks up to Marquette to keep tabs on Bog

WQ I was the Guy helpin out cookin gator and kinda running around checkin on things. I was driving the white ford truck everybody was leanin on. My wife Paula was also there helpin with the donations. Mike "coonwise" and "Gasconade" also helped out with the gator cookin. "Bpb" also was a big help as was "Drifter".. Ray and Marcie carved most of the hog, (A Huge Help) Ray Robinson of wildcat fur company donated the hog and Duke trap company donated 25 cases of beer. Many people brought other things like chicken, taters, corn and all of the other sides. I'm not sure who brought the Shine, but there were rumors that it came from NC. It sure made drifter goofy about Midnight and some southern boys. You know its gonna be good when one of them boys says " hey guys watch this" and it was......B.....

I'm 6"2" tall, handsome and lovable.  Most often I'm seen with a very intelligent look on my face and show a reverant demeanor.  That day I would have had a tan work shirt on an oliver cap and amber sunglasses  8) with my son (16) standin next to me.

Like I said before Boggy had me lookin for the ugliest guy there and it was flat hard to choose.

Not that I care, i got 2 more gallons of them when I got home, and still some going bad on the plants! I was the one with the 2 kids sitting on the pic table till food serving time was there.

:D  Was good to meet all the folks that I did at the BBQ . Sure didn't get to shake many hands though with hog all over em LMAO . I was the ugly one in carhartts slicing hog .  Thought for sure the rain would stop the roast but after the last drop fell didn't take em long to come out of hiding .The pickeled eggs were great how about a recipie ?

I am always kinda silly anyway BigB , gotta be true to my nature ya know . That NC spring water sure packs a punch though .
