Versa Pack Price?

I was checking a local Pawn Shop today that carries new guns as well as used, and he had a new .22LR Versa Pack there, but didn't have the .410 barrel. He was asking $139, and I asked if the had the other barrel and the case and he said no, just the .22LR. What should I go back and offer him for the little rifle as it sits? It is new, just not complete....

  A local shop here has a NIB versa pack for $189 if that's any help.

Bud's sold them for $161 shipped, IIRC Walmart sold them for $140. Just don't plan on getting an accessory shotgun barrel fitted to it, Gardner wouldn't, dunno if Ilion will, but you could fit a second hand barrel yourself.

If you could get it out the door at $139 I'd take it but try and haggle just don't loose sight they don't make them anymore. Kurt

That's kinda what I was thinking. The owner doesn't really know all the details, and I think I can get him down around $100 with the info that Wal-Mart sold the complete package for $140. I be back up that way next week, so I'll go by and see if its still there with $120 in my pocket...
