I've got one and love it. Runs 45 colts as well as the 454's. Light, Handy and Hell for Stout! You should be able to mount a scout setup for the scope, I'm going to try it. Have that setup on 2 other rifles and like them, just have to locate the right mount. I also like the option of dropping the rounds into the tube as opposed to pushing them in the loading gate. Run it through it's paces and I think you will wind up keeping the rifle. Mine feeds everything from RN Cowboy loads up through HOT 310g Keith SWC's as well as 454's, and is quite accurate. If you need to they can be slicked up easy as well, mine is better than the 44mag and 357mag that I also have that are Puma. Another plus is the magazine tube is threaded into the receiver on the 454 and 480 so no problems with the tube backing out from the recoil. Think of it as a thin, attractive, faithfull wife that won't let you down.
