Encore Locker Pins

Has anyone used the Encore Locker Pins we see advertised here? If you have ,how did they work.Thanks Danny

I have not tried the locker pin. From what I know about it, it keeps the pin from drifting side to side. This is surely a good thing, however it does not tighten the pin and may or may not keep it from rotating. A trick that I use is to put a small square of silver air duct tape (looks like tin foil) on each end of the pin. That keeps the pin from drifting and rotating. It is very thin and should not rub the ears of the forearm which I think the locker pin might tend to do. It certainly isn't a bad thing but seems to be of limited benefit.

My opinion has limited value because I am not an Encore shooter, but do have and use Contenders.  I don't see the concern about pin movement.  If the pin and the holes are round, and the right size, why would you care?  Nothing will change to the degree that any one of us is likely to notice.

If things aren't round you should get it fixed, and TC does that free.
