Where is a good place to hunt Pronghorn in Oregon?
« on: April 01, 2009, 07:55:11 AM »
I'm now an official Oregon resident and I want to know some good public lands to hunt Pronghorn on. I've never hunted them but I've wanted to for years. I'm not looking for trophies, just a good hunt. Thanks

get ready to wait 15-18 years or so to draw a tag, unless you have land owners prefernce.   I'm up to 12 prefernce points so I'm hoping in the next 5 years I will be lucky enough to draw a tag.

I'll second the Wyoming tip, Montana too.  They also have otc doe/fawn tags for region 7.

Too hard to draw in Oregon.  I always put in, never have drawn one.

have a friend who drew an atelope tag this year, only took applying 19yrs to get it, since his last tag he drew when he was 17.
