No, but I have heard only great things. If I would have had the coin, I would have bought a Kimber, but I bought a Ruger all weather instead. I love the Ruger though. The .338 federal is awesome, other than federal won't release any unprimed brass to had reload your own, and the factory options are kinda limited and are hard to come by most of the time. If you have the money I would not hesitate to buy a Kimber in .338 Federal

I converted a Savage to this caliber. I form the 338 brass from 308 brass, simply lube and run through a Redding die. Once fired 308 brass is available at about $15-$18 per 100, so the only other thing I had to buy were bullets.

I have no experience with the Kimber 338 federal. I own the Remington model 700 in 338 RUM. Good luck with your choice.

The Kimber 84M Montana rifle stands out as special.  Its very light yet it retains the features that I like and want from the heavier old M70's.

I have two Kimber Montanas but not one in 338 Fed.  I like that gun.
