 ;D ;D ;D ;D
i want to size a .515  500 grain flat nose  for the 50-70 50-90  down to .500 or .501  AND they are pure lead   i will use Lee sizers as to not tear up the nose  (using them in sabots for a 54 cal Knight front stuffer)  how big in jumps do i size these  .005 at a time?  as .515 to .510 and then to .505 and then to .501?   how much can you squeeze a bullet in one sizing step?  .005  .010  ?

ive brought 461 bullets down to 452 on one pass with the star and its not as strong as a lee in a loading press. I helps to lube them first but ive done it lots of times without lubing them. If you want to lube them spray a light coating of pam on them first.

so the pam get them thru the die    then you can lube normally   huh  so  515  can go to 501 in one pass        these are pure lead   i was worried about deforming them :o

Lloyd - How do you handle the fins on the bottom of the bullet from pushing through the Lee sizer?  Custom, close-fit pusher?
