Hints, Tips and Tricks

I just received a Lee Hand Press that I bought off a Member here
just in case I wanted to use it at the range or If us gun owners
are forced out of our man caves in the next 4 years :-\

Any way, looks simple enough and am sure I can make it work
but I thought I would start a post for members who have used
one and may have some suggestions on how to make life easier.

Maybe how they store it and components in a nice small package.
Or other items they found nice to carry along with it.

I keep one in a wooden box, with aother componects up @ deer camp. Its been there for years and I haven't needed to use it. But its there just incase!!

Keep mine in an old fishing tackle box along with cleaning supplies and screw driver set and other shooting related items.It's easy to carry and all my stuff I may need at the range or hunting is there.

Hold the press with your right hand and use your right thigh to begin closing the press.  Then, grab the handle with you left hand and finish the operation.  Watch your knuckles.

These work great for bullet seating, provided you use the BR, spring loaded seaters like the Redding Cometition model.

The Lee hand press was my only press for twelve years. No complaints
