Come on up to the risin'
« on: January 28, 2009, 02:49:55 PM »
Did you see the look on the people's faces when springsteen sang that at the inauguration? Thought they were viewing The Second Coming. They forget that at the first coming they killed him, not welcomed him with a rock band. How many times in history has God showed us that he will NOT be mocked. I'm getting the feeling that he has taken his guiding hand away from this country. How many times can you discipline an unruly child before you let him go his own way, and let him have to deal with his own mistakes? Well, the time has come, people!

I don't know.  I wonder sometimes.  I would not be quick to discount this.

At least we have the promise of unconditional love.  Most times our will is not the same as God's will.  I do agree God has and always will let us deal with our own mistakes, that is the beauty of freewill, however ugly it may be at times (presently).  The attitude that I am most concerned about is that people, including the guy running the show, are thinking that this Country owes them something.

Look at the breakdown of the new $825 BILLION bailout.  More funding for public housing, welfare, unemployment.... more FREE MONEY to those who do not deserve it or know how to manage it appropriately.  We are breeding a nation of apathetic morons, and it is only going to get darker, no pun intended, before it gets lighter!

Every empire that ever existed fell for the same reason. Immorality! Everyone was on the band wagon about those poor 6 million Jews in Germany. Saving the Iraqis from that evil Saddam, and on and on.
Meanwhile with the help of our tax dollar, our apathy, and Planned Parenthood, we have allowed our government to fund the butcher, and yes butcher is the correct term. 50,000,000 BABIES! God Bless America? I don't think so. >:(
America has basically said: Sorry God! We don't want'em so we killed'em, and we're sendin'em back. :-[ :'( >:(

I agree with that, except with the use of the word butcher.
It is too nice of term.  Butchering is what is done to a dead animal.
I'm not sure what is the correct term for cutting a live baby into small pieces with saw.
I don't know if the word has yet to be invented, actually.

We speak of the holocaust, and the millions killed.  It is accepted the Soviets exterminated about 100 million people, I hear it was mostly Christians.  There have been and continue to be mass exterminations along the lines of political, racial, and ethnic groups.

But look at what happens here.
We can't really point our fingers at these people.
During WW2, after we liberated one of the concentration camps, then General Eisenhour admonished the local people.  He stated they were as guilty as the people who worked in the concentration camps.  They knew what was taking place, and did nothing to stop it.  Then he forced the locals to help organize and dispose of the massive piles of human bodies.
Was he right?
If you think he was, how does this apply to ourselves?

Abortion is murder of this there is no doubt. The government funding these murders here and abroad is a travisty.I do not support this with my vote. I believe that any doctor that does this does not deserve life or anyone that helps them. The decision is not mine if it were the outcome would be different. I still say God had nothing to do with the election. Misinformed indivudals made the outcome what it is and the queers, commies, minority's and of course liberals

Troyboy-
You can believe in whatever God you want. When the founding fathers were drawing up the constitution and would reach a deadlock, they would stop and pray. Next to the Bible, the Constitution is the most important piece ever written. After all the attempts to remove God, Even from the Pledge of Allegiance, to forbidding prayer in schools, etc. I think he is tired of the spoiled little brats that call themselves americans.

I guess we're going to see this one differently,  IMHO, god has everything to do with all that is good.  However, there is one who's purpose is to confuse and deceive; to impose all forms of misery upon mankind.  He comes not from the light but dwells in the dark.

Thank You Dee, lrs and Victorcharlie, and bio, my fellow minnesotan,
I really felt I was sticking my neck out on that one, waiting for the axe, had to speak my mind though.
I had been telling everyone I could before the election what was going to happen, like talking to a stump.
After I got laid off jan. 14th I went to work for a friend of mine that has a cabinet shop, has a couple of weeks worth of work. He left early yesterday to get his taxes done. When I showed up for work today he was just fit to be tied! Asked him what was up-he expected a refund of 5,000, found out he has to pay in 5,000. 10,000 swing, I knew he voted for BHO so I didn't say anything. Next thing he said was that he's  never felt so anti-American in his life. I asked, anti-American or anti-government, after thinking for a bit, he said anti-government, I guess.

Irs, if I understand your question on the last part of your post correctly this is the way I see it. APATHY on our part makes us as guilty as the doctor in many ways. We continue to vote for the lessor of two evils, and continue to get the same type of officials.
We ask the candidate. Pro-life or Pro- choice. If he says Pro-life we vote for him without ever asking: If I vote for you, what are YOU going to do to stop the slaughter. Answer thus far? Not a damn thing. >:(

The best candidate on either side was made out to be inexperienced, radical, unqualified, did I mention inexperienced? Sarah Palin should have been the republican candidate, not put on the ballot as an afterthought to try to garner the female vote. A state governor, no matter the state, political party, or amount of experience, or lack of, would not double the deficit in their first week of office. Governors are required to have a balanced budget, no matter what the lobbyists and the special interests want.

I think if Palin had been on the TOP of the ticket, and that moron McCain on the bottom then McCain could have been the Vice Pres.
Palin is a REAL PERSON, McCain is a political sold out FOOL. JMO

The dems had this recession all planned out to win the election, It just turned out a WHOLE lot bigger than they planned. Now they are just happy they have a no-body in place they can forget about in a few years after all the glitz is wore off.
