I've never owned a Nikon before, so I guess it's time I try one. I picked one up today for $250. I plan on putting it on my Savage .270. I am a Leupold guy but I have read good things about these scopes. I'm sure the BDC reticle won't work as advertised but it's better than guessing, and maybe it will. That was not the only reason I chose this scope. Nice and clear.. Any opinions?

I have 3 of those scopes and they're excellent. They are available new for $200 which makes them a bargain IMHO. Should you want another new one, PM me and I'll supply the details.

I have one on my 12ga. slug gun and there is no better scope out there for $200!

That's good to know but this scope was $329, marked down to $299. then down to 15% off that to $255 is what I paid for it. Where can you get one for $200?.

The BDC reticle does indeed work as advertised. You will like it.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, Too Cold, but I like the looks of it mounted on my .270. I used med. Burris rings and it sits nice and low, just like I wanted. I'm already thinking about replacing the scope on my 7mag. I'm thinking about the Monarch Gold 2.5X10X50..
