Great Customer Service from Savage

I bought a Savage 24 in 30-30 over 12 GA this fall through Gunbroker.com.  The gun came with an improved cylinder choke in the shotgun barrel.  I decided that I would like modified and full chokes as well.  After checking prices on some internet sites I decided to give Savage a call.

I was greeted on the phone by a courteous, English speaking woman who was cheery and very helpful.  I was able to order two chokes and a nice choke tube wrench for $33 delivered, less than a single choke would have cost me at some on-line sites.  They arrived in the mail three days later.  Kudos to Savage for great customer service!

  That's good ,The only dealing I had with them was a couple of years ago was with a non English speaking woman that was useless,After three months of waiting for my 99 to be returned for a firing on lever closing issue.A 85.00 dollar bill .It was sold never to own another savage product.
     After hearing the customer service might be better perhaps its time to try a Stevens 200 for a 223 truck gun.
