Selective Availability turned back on for 9/11
« on: September 12, 2003, 04:14:37 AM »
Defense department must have turned on the Selective Availability yesterday. Went out hunting and the GPS was way off. Tracking wandered extensively when I stayed in one spot for a while and showed about a 150' -200' difference between when I walked in on the trail and when I walked out. Also when I got home, "home" was 300" or 400' off.
Just another worthless opinion!!

Hello,
Don't want to insult your intellagents, buy maybe your batteries are to low?  I had a simular problem and found that my batts were less-then 50%.
You may want to look into get an updated software download from the manufactures website.  Maybe the updates address this type of problem.

Just a few thought,
Skunkie.
