BIG BACKYARD Cannon FUN!
« on: January 31, 2009, 01:12:25 PM »
This is a duplicate of the BROOKS-USA  #01 Parrot Barrel as previously shown on this board.  This one will be  #03  it just needs serial number stamped and the final touch of polishing. Barrel is 16" long, 69 caliber, machined of solid brass extruded rod.  Many of our barrels can be seen on the Backyard Cannon Fun Thread...THIS IS NOT FOR THE AVERAGE BACKYARD...IT NEEDS A BIG BACKYARD! I am told that #01 has not been fired yet...too pretty...awe come on Ray! And the new owner of #02 said the resound is awesome with a zinc ball.  Sixteen inches really helps "the speak". This item is available at www.brooks-usa.com or PM me here.

Golly gee that barrel looks purty. Wait I have #1 hee hee. It is the "flagship" of my collection. While I have been tempted on fireing it. It just looks to good sitting on my shelf all polised. It is one of the finest cannons I have in my collection

I still want to put some brass trim on the cheeks. I will when the scars heal from cutting myself from the brass, Not only the physical but the mental ones as well

That really is a beauty, but think of the added fun of firing it, and then cleaning it all up again! BoomLover

Maybe someday I will pop off a round. But I feel like a wuss and don't want to get it dirty. It takes alot of Brasso to keep it shiny now. And this thing looks damn good sitting on my shelf
