a good day

well i hunted all day today on the ground hard lookin for a whitetail, diddnt matter if it was a doe or a buck just any deer,well diddnt see one but i did enjoy watching a family of  raccoons frolic around a stream, ten or so squirels mess around an oak tree and a hawk and a turkey fighting over something,i did not kill any deer but it was still a good day   8)

souns like a good day to me. hope yu saw a dozen the next day yu hunted. it goes like that.

I know what you mean.  I had a day like that yesterday too.  Hog hunting though as our deer season is done.  Didn't see either, but the coons, dillos, squirrels, and birds were real active. 

I told my hunting partner afterwards that no deer or antelope roamed, no discouraging words were heard, and the skies were not cloudy all day...so it must have been Home on the Range.  ;D
