From what I read, it has nothing to do with "gun control". It is about the environmental dangers from lead. Same reason you can't use lead shot for waterfowl and also the same reason many states are starting to outlaw lead fishing sinkers, and the reason you can't use lead bullets in many parts of the west.

Yeah that evil lead. Unnatural unbelievably toxic lead. Lets just ban it completely.

Oh wait I forgot lead is a naturally occurring element. It has absolutely nothing and I mean NOTHING to do with the environment. It is part of the bigger picture, incrementally pricing people out of gun ownership. The higher the cost of shooting, the less shooters their are, the less shooters their are, the weaker the pro gun lobby. If you fall for this environmental crap, you are plain old stupid.

We're about to see the culmination of the antis long term plans. They started removing lead from paint in the 50's, from gasoline in the 70's and shot gun pellets in the 90's, all under the guise of environmental concerns. Next they'll be removing it from our pencils!

Not sure where you are going with that comment, but pencil's haven't had lead in them for over 100 years. Pencil "leads" are graphite, an inert form of carbon.

''those gun  owners  won't ever  compromize''

things will  get worse
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

many statements made here are fiction and are for entertainment purposes only and are in no way to be construed as a description of actual events.
no one is encouraged to do anything dangerous or break any laws.

tn_junk,

I think we both know where crustaceous is going with this.  He's talking about the emasculation of America, plain and simple.  I am sure that he is right.

It would be nice to see Kalifornia treated by ALL in the firearms industry. When the LAPD swat team asked to buy Mr Barrets rifles, he refused to sell to them in protest of their assault on the Constitution.

Lead, smead, how many of you have gizzards in you that have grit in them to grind the lead shot down into a soluble form before it passes out you rear end?

Sorry, I am one of those folks who sometimes just doesn't get a joke.
If that is what he is saying, I agree with him 100%.
