It's melting!

With this weeks warm weather the snow depth is being reduced. Will it be enough to open up some of the smaller rivers and creeks that have beavers in them?

Shawn, thats a real hard one to guess on.All depends on :amount of sunshine,Temperature, ice thickness, snow depth, and the amount of running water, under the ice. Now if you have a lot of snow melt---running out on to the ice, that will also do in certain amounts of ice.
I don't plan on anything here--till late march-early april. And I sure would like to see ice out in the north--in mid april.

I don't think things will open up here until March.   It is only going to melt enough so my last remaining ermine boxes flood out and freeze in.
