I just picked up this matched set but with the 12 ga slug barrel. I have only shot the muzzleloader and am still in process of working up a load. Using Blackhorn 209 and barnes MZ 250 grain & TC shockwave 250 grain. Powder between 80 and 120 grain by volume. Also using harvester crush rib sabots. with less than 20 shots I am getting good accuracy at 60 yds but I think the sabots are too small for the barrel as they load way easy. Gun handles and shoots fine with the blackhorn209, using Federal 209 shotgun primers. The blackhorn 209 cleans up with regular gun solvent just like it says in the their advertising. The patch pair to me is a very good deal considering the price. I got a slug gun for my kid to use and a new MZ for me in the late season for less than the cost of Hastings or Remington slug barrel for 870
