marion county buck

just wanted to show the buck my dad shot out of my stand while i was deployed to iraq          fbc
            buck was taken near lead hill.
Basic training 1984
Diego Garcia  1985-87
NAS Pensacola 1987-90
NAS Whiting Field 1990- 91
1996 National Guard
Ft. Sill  2003
Pine Bluff Arsenal   2004- 05
Camp Taji, Iraq       2008
Thinking about retiring   2011
Turned in my retirement paper work  Jan. 2013

That is a nice buck, and congrats on your stand placement and your Dad's shooting ability.  Think of the money you saved by not having to mount that deer.  Sorry you had to be in Iraq instead of deer hunting but I appreaciate you fighting for our freedom to hunt.  My daughter has made three trips to the sand box as a copter pilot so I'm sure your dad would have preferred you to be home for the hunt.   In a few years, when your father can no longer hunt, you will be glad he took the deer. Thanks for sharing.

That's a fine buck, esp. in hill country. Thanks for your service, my youngest got back just before Christmas.

Curious about your username. Did you work the Norfork ferry? A friend of mine from college days did, I was sad to hear he passed away.
