XS Sight System
« on: January 09, 2009, 11:45:05 AM »
I recently bought an XS Sight for my Win '94AE 30-30.
I'm not going to install it until after late doe/spike
season but was wondering if anyone reading here
had any experience (install/use) with this sight.
Link to specifics below.

Thanks in advance.

The Gunblast site has a review of the XS Sight on a 94 Trapper.

I have a set on my 94AE .44Mag Trapper. I really like them, small and clean! Great sight package for the Model 94AE.

I have a set on a Marlin that I had shortened (about a year before they came out with the Guide Gun series).  Back then they were called Ashley Outdoors.  I love that setup.

Another good pair of sights that I have on a Marlin .44 were made by Skinner.  Same good results and I think they were even less money.

Edited: Somehow wrecked the one sentence and didn't notice till this AM

Here is a guy on youtube that is using a Marlin 1895GS 45-70 with XS Sights Backup Ghost Ring sights that can show you what can be done with a set of XS sights...  :)

Oh my Marlin I have the same sights and can easily pull off 6" or less groups at 150 yards.
