loading for 762x39 sks

any one got any good pet loads for an sks using 123 gr .311 bullets or 150gr .308 bullets?
 anybody try pulling their op rod and shooting lead cast bullets ala a bolt action?

I use the Lee 160 grain gas checked TL bullet with R7 powder. Cycles the action the same as jacketed bullets. I lightly lube the action with ATF before shooting and clean after shooting.

I have used the Sierra .308 110 grain HP bullet in a few SKSs and they shot very well.

I like the sierra 150gr bullets for the enfields out of mine they shoot very well, I don't mess with .308 bullets much in it mine wants to scatter them around.

yep! works just fine, I did the same thing for this test
