The AWA that will never be

I got my Guns of the Old West  magazine the other day and read Mr. Bubbles (Denis Prisbey) article on the AWA SxS shotgun. I thought it might be a promising scattergun. I love shotguns BTW. I  had emailed Denis about something else and asked about the AWA SxS and he told me that he had written the article well over a year ago and since then AWA gave up on trying to distribute those shotguns at all. I guess they are concentrating on the Lightning at the moment. Too bad, I could have seen one of those SxS in my grubby hands

I backed off when I saw the $700.00 price tag on the AWA Shotgun.....bought my Stoeger for $199.00 Brand New and it is a cement truck (doesn't break down.......).
