MN Muzzel loaders
« on: July 08, 2009, 06:42:41 PM »
Are any of the MN GBO members muzzeloaders?  If so could I hear from any [all] of them who are interested in getting Blackhorn 209 propellant into the Gander Mountain stores. I have been asking in every store I enter about it, question why it isn't carried, etc. ,trying to make enough waves to reach the Burnsville head office. I talked with their purchaser and he was vague at best. They don't like to have a high-priced brand sitting there while the cheap stuff sells . Fair enough ,but how are shooters supposed to learn the difference if there is none to try? Drop a line to this thread and see if we can't generate some steam!   Ken Lacey

I gave up on all of the new powders that come out, the retailers sell the stuff at such a high price point that I just got fed up with it all.

Now I just use Goex black powder in all my muzzleloaders - inlines and flinters, caplocks.
my accuracy is awesome in the inlines, clean up is just as easy and at 10.50 a pound you can't go wrong.
Call "Powder inc" and buy it direct, they will send it right to your house. the web site is powderinc.com

HAVING A LIBERAL ALONG IS LIKE LOSING 2 GOOD MEN
