put a new toy on lay-away
« on: April 18, 2009, 04:26:24 PM »
just today i put a remington m7600 with a maple stock in .257 roberts on lay-away at grice gun shop.
it's the 75th anniversary edition with model # , cartridge , and 75th anniversary carved into the  forend stock .
i'm really looking forwards to picking her up and adding her into the cabinet , and shooting her as well of course.

anybody else get one of the new maple stocked rifles ???

I planned on ordering one just for the maple but I have all of these calibers in walnut.

Plus I like the carbines better.

I know if I miss out I will kick myself later but I think I will pass.

But they do look good,

Enjoy!

you could always have the walnut stocked one rebarrelled or baffeled to .250 savage , or just get the .257 as the anniversary edition as the stocks have the anniversary edition info cut into them.

or get the .35 whelen and put a barrel baffle in it or rebarrel it to .358 win.

Whelen,

Congratulations on the new rifle! When you get that baby home, please post some pictures of it. Just love those blond maple stocks with the tiger stripes.
