Therefore, build a rythm and note the alloy temperature, check the results, make notes. Change ONE of the variables, note the effects. You'll soon become the expert.
Some folks will use maximum temperature to cast, a sponge to cool the sprue plate and cast as fast as possible. Another common technique is to use two moulds, letting the mould cool while filling the second.
