BSA Red Dot Scope

i saw a BSA Red Dot Scope at walmart for 30$ and i would like to used this scope for hunting with a handgun. Is this a fair or alright scope for a handgun and how far of a shot could a make with this kind of scope(rats or something around that size)?

I used to have one on my Ruger .44 mag. and it held up very well!!! The scope mount kept coming loose but the scope worked great. I made shots on deer at 100 yards and a couple of head shots at 20-30 yards!!!

i see, very nice. i am going to put it on a air hand gun for rat shooting at about 20 yards or less. Does the battares hold up well on the BSA scopes?

I used to put a new one in the one on my shotgun before deer season and still use it the next spring for turkey season!!! The only time the battery went dead is when I forgot to turn it off at the end of deer season!!!  :P I have one on my ar-15 i left on for a week and it still works!!!!
